San Gabriel - General Information

Alameda Corridor-East Construction Authority - The 2.2-mile San Gabriel Trench grade separation project will result in the lowering of a 1.4-mile section of Union Pacific railroad track in a trench through the City of San Gabriel with bridges constructed at Ramona Street, Mission Road, Del Mar Avenue and San Gabriel Boulevard, allowing vehicles and pedestrians to pass over the tracks. 

Gabrieleno/Tongva Band of Mission Indians of San Gabriel - They are headquartered in San Gabriel, where they have maintained community and their culture.

San Gabriel Mission - The fourth of the California missions, and the seed of present-day San Gabriel.

Church of our Saviour - The Church of Our Saviour has a long and illustrious history. It was the first protestant church in the San Gabriel Valley, founded in 1867 on the grounds of "Don Benito" Benjamin Wilson's Rancho San Pascual.  Wilson was the grandfather of famous WWII general George Patton, Jr. The general grew up attending Our Saviour, and a life-size bronze statue of Patton as commander of the U.S. 15th Army stands on the church grounds..

Friends of La Laguna - Dedicated to the preservation of La Laguna - a magical playground that is tucked in the southeast corner of Vincent Lugo Park.

Pacific Electric ~ Alhambra-San Gabriel Line - Short history of the Alhambra - San Gabriel Line with stops at the San Gabriel Mission and the Masonic Lodge in San Gabriel.  Line provided passenger service from inception in 1902 until November 1941, and continuing with freight operations until 1951 into West Alhambra.
